The blower motor was not working on our furnace. Whipple service techs (techs they were not!), read HIGH PRESSURE SALESMEN, came by and told us the motor was blown and the furnace was no good and we needed to replace the unit to the tune of over $6K. I said I needed to think about it over night ? good thing! Turned out later that day one of the employees reset the motor and everything was working just fine. I then called my regular heating and air conditioning contractor and he checked out the furnace and said it was in perfect working order and did not need to be replaced.
Now Whipple keeps calling my cell phone and every time they call I ask them to remove my name from their list. BUT NO ? they just keep calling! So they are not only Shysters ? but a BIG Nuisance!
I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THEM! EVER!!!
