The weekend we were getting married in VA Beach our cat, Luna got a stomach bug so we decided it would be best for him to stay the weekend under vet care. They were to give him his meds and make sure he started getting food down.
Mind you when we brought him in he had diarrhea and was vomiting and he did have bad kidneys. When we picked him up they said he was keeping food down and was fine. When we got home he couldn't walk.
When we went back to Quail Corners the vet suggested we put the cat down. Wait a second, we had him there under your care, got the ok to bring him home and now we will need to put him down? After fluids and lots of love at home Luna lived a lively 6 more months. In the end I didn't appreciate the way the situation was handled and how our cat and our feelings were disrespected. They also had the audacity to bill us for the last visit!
Cons: unknowledable and unsupportive staff
