My puppy got diagnosed with liver shunt. I spent hours looking to find good surgeons within 3 to 4 hours distance from Northern Virginia. I came across Hunt Valley Animal Hospital. I called the hospital. When I asked about liver shunt surgery, the staff was nice and changed me directly to Dr. Frank. Even though he does not perform liver shunt surgery, he explained to me about latest surgery technique versus traditional method. He took so much time helping me out that I was feeling bad about taking up so much of his time. I do not live nearby Hunt Valley Animal Hospital, but I will definitely recommend to those nearby. He must be a great veterinarian. He was truly caring, helpful and patient. I am writing this because I am so thankful that I was able to talk to someone like Dr. Frank.
