I read some of the other reviews on here for Fratelli Lyon, and the main complaint seems to be the wait. My advice: be good-looking (or have a striking date), be immaculately dressed, think outside of the box, and be just a little bit deviant. Wait around at the bar until a space opens up, and don't be afraid to be a little rude and pushy in order to get what you want. This IS, after all, Miami.
The ambiance is superb! If you are a design enthusiast, this is THE place to eat in the Design District. While all the food is very well done, the main attraction here is the salumi and cheese, as well as the extensive selection of Italian wines. This is a great place to socialize over a plate of antipasti. They have a pre theater prix fixe dinner, and a prix fixe lunch. I hope they still have this offer because, as I recall, the lunch was $25 and 3 courses, or 2 courses with a glass of wine.
