My husband and I went there for dinner on March 13, 2010, Sat., around 6:30 p.m. and the place was busy. The people working there were all so warm and friendly, especially our server - always checking to make sure we were happy, but not overly attentive - which can be annoying. My husband ordered the Rib-eye Special and I had the Kona Steak - WOW! Both our steaks were cooked to perfection; just so moist and tender and properly seasoned. The fresh veggies were cooked just right - lightly steamed. The only problem for me was the rice pilaf was alittle to spicy for me, but thats because I normally eat Zero spice. So next time its baked potato like my husband had. The price might seem spendy on paper, but it is very fair for upscale food and its in Longview! So when you don""t want to drive to Portland for a nice meal - J.T.s Steak and Fishouse is wonderful!! Plus it supports Longviews economy!
Pros: You can stay in Longview for an up-scale meal.
Cons: Would have been nice if they beer on tap.
