Bought two placos for $40, one died within 24 hours, I called and they wanted a water sample, as it is I already drive an hour to purchase the fish, I drive all the way back for them to not do anything, store credit, refund, nothing. Said the PH was low, however, I always check my ph and it is perfect, putting a sample in a water bottle and driving over an hour I am sure had nothing to do with it being off. I guess it is more important to them to keep that quick $40 then to make more off of us in the future and the many people we used to recommend. They will lose several good customers for something so simple as a store credit. The fish didn't cost them $40, so even if they gave a store credit for half, at least they would've been trying. Don't waste your time, Eddies in Latham has a much larger selection, super clean, super friendly, less expensive, and they have a gaurantee, like any good business should.
