Lai Lai's is a popular place to find a great number of Rice University students, especially around the time of the start and end of terms. It offers family style dining, making coming here with groups of people both convenient and provides diners with feel of a community. The place is a quaint space only able to seat 20-25 people max, but I think that it adds to the appeal of the restaurant. It offers a variety of meat, vegetable, noodle, and rice dishes ranging from spicy to mild and from sweet to salty. Come here for good conversations, delicious food, and a change of pace.
