Today my friend went to the Day Spa in Edina to get a massage. Once on the table the therapist asked if there were any areas she was having problems. My friend explained that she was stressed out because she recently found out that her cancer had returned. The massage therapist left the room and came back and stated that it is their policy not to work on people with cancer because massage causes cancer to spread and refused to give her a massage. UNBELIEVABLE! I have been going to the Day Spa for over 12 years and under no circumstances will they get any more of my money. I recommend that everyone should refuse to patronize establishments that discriminate.
