First off, I need to say that I was in the party mentioned in "Restaurant Rater's" review. This night was the night of St. Patty's Day. The restaurant was very crowded but there was a good vibe in the place. We got our drinks in a reasonable amount of time and the waitress was very nice and explained that it was her first night or she had just started recently. We were having a good time. Restaurant Rater is correct in saying that we had to wait 45min-hour for our food, but we understood why because it was busy and a holiday. When our food came out it was hot and very good. We got the St. Patty's day specials of Corned beef and cabbage and Shepherds Pie and some of their New Zealand Mussells which we've had before. The owner, Barry and his family are all very nice and we really appreciate the fact that they let us park in his parking lot so we could do a bike ride before we ate at 7pm. Please patronize this local, family run gem near Michaux State Forest!
Pros: Guiness on tap, Potato soup, Homemade chips and Mussells
Cons: None yet!
