I recently moved to Gilroy from Mtn View and I had a lifetime brake warranty from the getting my brakes done at the Mtn View store. Even tho they are different owners, they honored my warranty from the other store even though I didn't have my receipt. Saved me $100. They told me they wanted to have my business for the long term and I appreciate that. That's why I recommend them to everyone I know!
