I saw Vampire Weekend & a few other bands here over the past few months. I keep going back b/c Bowery Ballroom continues to pull in top talent.
It's a great facility for seeing bands in a more intimate, smaller setting. Even standing at the back of the room allowed you good visibility of the stage and it's easy to hear them from every part of the bar.
Having the music pumped to the downstairs bar was also a nice touch.
I wasn't thrilled with the ultra-hipster bartenders. They were just a little too cool.
Overall, I'll continue going back to see bands I like, but I wouldnt go here otherwise.
