As far as bagel places go, there are a lot in New York, so they would have to excel at something to stand out. Tal is really just a neighborhood place, good enough if convenience is the most important factor. The food was a bit expensive for what it was, though my bagel was prepared to my liking: warm and chewy on the inside, and just crispy enough on the outside. So if you live nearby, have a bagel sandwich, there are a bunch of flavors and stuff you can put on them.
