Had lunch here with two friends at the recommendation of one of them. I had a preconceived idea of having a nice, steamy bowl of comforting soup. Why this is called a soup kitchen is beyond me. They had two soups on the regular menu and one on the special. I ordred an entree, but wanted a cup of soup. I was charge $5.50 for a small cup! Wasn't worth it. Soup was served with a piece of thick, untoasted sourdough bread and two more pieces of bread on my open face turkey sandwich entree. Turkey was not oven roasted. Not sure quite what it was. Some kind of gravy, possibly with green chiles in it, topped with chopped tomato and olives. Nothing seemed to go together. It was probably some of the worst food I've had in a long time. One of the friends had not tried Annie's before, either. She ordered a quiche that was absolutely tasteless, too. Won't go there again.
