If you want to eat sushi in an authentic sushi restaurant, this is the place. Don't come here if you are looking for the Miyako/Cafe Japon americanized sushi (read: the exploding cajun cowboy crazy dragon roll covered in mayonnaise). This is fresh sushi done right by a (gasp) Japanese sushi chef. I love the chirashi with a couple of pieces of hotate on the side. As the chef gets to know you he will begin to customize for you when you come in - a mark of a true sushi chef. The rice is sticky with that slightest hint of sweet. This is the Japanese restaurant where you will find the most Japanese people eating, whether local residents or traveling visitors. My favorite, by far.
Pros: Authentic people, authentic atmosphere, authentic food
