When I moved here from a big metro area that was filled with 'chiropractor mills' that want to establish long term treatment plans and sell you the moon, I was skeptical about finding a chiropractor. I got Dr Bawcom?s name from a friend of a friend and I was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment the very same day I called! I was even more surprised during the appoint in which he sat and talked to me for more than thirty minutes to discuss my concerns and previous treatment plus there were no contracts, x-rays, supplements, and no sales pitch!
Dr Bawcom takes the time to discuss my issues to get to the root of the problem, and then clearly explains possible causes and options in terms of treatment. In addition to adjustments, he also provides his patients with tools to help them improve their conditions outside of his office. For example, he not only provided me with printouts of specific exercises that would help me but he took the time to show me how to do them properly.
I think what makes his practice different from the rest is that he is very knowledgeable and passionate about his profession. He truly strives to help his patients help themselves and encourages his us to exercise and maintain good health practices. In addition to his chiropractor expertise, I have also received acupuncture treatment from Dr Bawcom to treat my allergy and sinus issues.
The bottom line is that Dr Bawcom runs a top notch operation! He and his staff are very personable, attentive and professional so I would highly recommend his practice!
