My husband and I recently stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and spent an afternoon at the bar drinking scotch, eating *yummy* food, and wondering if this was finally a local hangout (albeit pricey.) Alas, I walked in this evening and the host couldn't even be bothered to look up from the front desk as I walked in. Then, the tiny bar was packed with 3 seats reserved (and empty). And no one was going to make it easy to grab a drink and hang out. The host was kind enough to look up when I was *on my way out*! I'm new to DC (from New York) - what is the deal with DC's snobby-ness?!? I want to root for Againn- why do they make it hard?
Pros: Great bar, good food, great location
Cons: Service is *way* too snobby for downtown DC!
