The 19th century colonial set up works really well to complement the British-Asian fusion concept. I've tried Bone Marrow at many places but this one tops my list and is usually the reason why I'm here. Some say that Blue Ribbon Brasserie has the best one but I didn't think that the oxtail marmalade pairing there worked as well as the miso-glazed one here. It's just the perfect combination of fattiness, saltiness and sweetness! Other small plates were a hit or miss (the laksa and fried quail were just mediocre). Overall, I'd really only recommend the Bone Marrow dish but it's a also a really trendy spot for evening cocktails (try the Double Crown Ginger & Spike).
Be sure to visit the bathroom; they look like little opium rooms back in prohibition era!!
