Our experience was great. We had been shopping for a car for our daughter and let me tell you I was almost at my wits end. That is until we ended up at Bayside auto sales. Most of the places we went too, up and down the strip were dreadful. Before we could even get out of our car 1 if not 2 salesman were practically pulling us out of our car. They showed us everything EXEPT what we were loooking for. We wanted nice in-expensive automatic car for our teenage daughter. Of course all the cars she wanted were not in the budget and not what we thought should should have as her first car! Kids (as you parents know!) want something their friends would think are cool. But we wanted was just a plane old good car. After arriving at the dealership we were greated and told by the salesman... "if you see something you like please let us know and we will get the keys for you." After that we looked around un-bothered or pressured until we found a car we had a few questions about. We spotted a 1997 Honda Passport for $2995. The salesman explained that all in all it was a good vehicle, but it did had some minor issues. They had taken in it on trade earlier that week and the check engine light was on. We drove the car and it road tested very well. We asked why the light was on? He was not 100% sure but was more than happy to get it checked out for us! The next day he called us back with the prognosis. The mechanic checked it and found that there was a hole in the muffler and the O2 sensor was bad. Total estimate was $180 to fix it, which we agreed to split with them. They got it fixed the next day and we came back to re-test drive the car . The 2nd test drive went well and the light was off. As we were getting ready to write the check, the manager came in and stated that after installing the muffler the O2 sensor was just fine and did not need to be replaced. That shaved the total bill for repairs down to $95 dollars for just the muffler. To our surprise he said don't worry about it I already took care of the bill on the muffler at no cost to you. The only thing he wanted was for us to send them a few customers. We said we would, and we did. My husbands co-worker bought a car there on our recommendation and so did our daugher's best friend! The best part is they paid us $100 each for both of the referrals...What a deal! BTW of the 3 cars none of them have had any major problems and we will go back when our 14 year old is ready for his first car!
Pros: Laid back and not pushy!
Cons: none I can think of.
