I liked the exotic variety of small plates offered at Masa - strange combinations that seemed to work out perfectly. This was my first taste of Asian-Latin fusion and I loved it. The location is great, the venue is chic and warm - great for a date night or Happy Hour. However my best piece of advice is: don't be starving when you come to Masa unless you are willing to spend. The small plates were SMALL plates. The critic is correct, several items I ordered came in threes - and I was sharing with my boyfriend. We stared longingly at our small plate hoping for more. Most plates we finished in 3 to 4 bites. Not to mention the miniscule dessert! The food was very good and we just wanted more - but at 6 to 14 bucks it adds up quickly.
