The staff is very friendly, but that is the only positive thing I could say about this establishment. \r
I am not fond of Dr. Valese. He has no personal skills, seemed to be fearful of my young friendly dogs, and was overpriced. He also wanted to see my (healthy) dogs multiple times within a 6 month period and charged for a checkup each time. Initially, I requested that my dogs be spayed by a certain date because of their age and the rescue organization's recommendation. Instead, he waited too long and performed the surgery on them WHILE they were in heat, which is extremely risky, and was extremely expensive for us. \r
I agree with other reviewers that interesting additional expenses appear on the bill. The best was "pedicure" for $20 that slipped in the bill. Did they cut my dog's nails? yes. But I also cut my dogs nails myself, and our dog goes to the groomers. Not necessary... \r
I have had dogs my whole life, and my rescue animals live a very pampered and active life. Dr.
