Prior to taking any driving classes, I had been behind the wheel about five or six times, which was less than two hours of driving. I guess I started off as an ""advanced beginner."" With that being said I needed help with my turns and I had never attempted to park or drive on a highway.
My first class with Dave was all about getting comfortable behind the wheel. He is very encouraging, giving helpful instructions and letting you know whether you did something good, or something that needs improvement. During that first class he also took me on I 95 and it was not as frightening as I thought it would be. Today I had my second class which consisted of parking. The first thing Dave tells you is that parking is the easiest part of driving. Since I had never attempted to park I wasn't too sure that would be true. Well I was wrong, parking is easy once you've practiced several times and pay attention to Dave's instructions.
I still need to practice my parking and will need a few more hours to prepare for the driving test. Dave is a wonderful instructor who will never yell at you or get frustrated while you are driving. If you need help give the school a call and ask for Dave.
