The Pie is made by one of the premiere chefs of the 50's through the 80's. Famous for his hand cut steaks and prime rib, a Master Chef that, until his undignified dismissal by unappreciative new owners, would begin his work day at 5AM to bake rolls, bread and pastries, buy, age and cut his own steaks and roasts, plan menus , cater parties and civic events...Master Chef of the Plainsman and El Rancho....A trip to Williston for a slice of pie and conversation with Chef Palmer is worth any price!
The Coffee Shop and Restaurant are still run by his children so the quality still reflects Chef Palmer's high standards. Hardly a Mexican Place Yahoo..get you're sh-- straight!
