I just came home from the salon for the first time.I felt like I was in a factory! It was loud and it was packed. The hair colorist Diego told me that they see 200 people a day. So I figured, great that means they probably are the best and will do a an amazing job. WRONG! I came in to do a simple single process to get the gray out. I am a dark brunette, this should be easy. First he proceeds to blow dry my hair..this is very strange as it was not wet and it opens the follicles in your head. (You are not supposed to open pores in your head before putting chemicals on them, I would think common sense tells us this). Nevertheless, I am not the professional so I kept mum. He then carefully painted the hair dye on my hair. It literally started to burn like crazy from the second it touched my scalp. (I have never experienced this before). Everything else was pretty standard, then after it was blow dryed I looked in the mirror and noticed that my roots are light brown, an orange color! I could not believe it. He comes up to me and says ""oh it looks beautiful"".I said actually it's too light and orange. He completely ignored my comment and said please remember my name the next time you come in! Never again. I am so upset right now I want to cry. Beware...this salon is not all it's hyped up to be. \r

I just called the salon, they were very apologetic, and they said they would fix it. I hope I don't regret calling them again.. I will report back afterwards..\r

12/21/2010---- UPDATE\r
I am happy to report Elizabeth to the rescue! I came back in today to have my roots color corrected.\r
\r
The Great: \r
-Elizabeth not only corrected the disastor, but she also gave me the best color I have ever had! 10 STARS FOR ELIZABETH..SHE ROCKS!!\r
-Her assistant was super sweet and understanding\r
-The woman who blow dried my hair was awesome, I think her name was Lisa.\r
-Hair looks amazing, super shiney...got a bunch of compliments already!\r
\r
-The Bad:\r
After confirming my appointment yesterday, they tried to cancel my appointment to correct the color 2 hours before my appointment today! I had to wait on hold for 20 minutes until we all compromised on the time and they let me come in. \r
-They charged me 25 dollars for the blow dry! (You would think after all this they could throw that in)\r
\r
-The Ugly:\r
-They tried to have me sign a form that would give them no liability in case my hair falls out or breaks! (So let me get this straight..your salon messes up and in case anything goes horribly wrong, I should take the liability?? ) \r
-When I go to pay for the $25 blow dry, the receptionist informs me that my bill is $104 for the single process!! (I told her I came because of a hair correction from their salon..she gave me a face and then charged me the correct amount).\r
\r
If only I went to Elizabeth in the first place! We live we learn!\r
\r
On a side not, I really think a lot of these 5 star reviews are fake. If you click on the reviewers they only have one review.. food for thought...\r
