Our two daughters have been Dr. Cammerman's patient's since birth (nearly 7 years). Although overall they are well kids, they have had some quirky and complex medical issues. Dr. Cammerman has been there for us. He is calm and thoughtful, super smart, and very mindful of the medial literature in his approach (no one wants the MD who practices out of the ""I've always done it this way"" book). He is not too proud to seek a second opinion. Actually, that is one of the amazing things about the practice, you get the minds of all of the partners in the practice working on your case.... and when you are there on a Sunday (weekend hours are amazing if you are stressed with a sick child), you can be comfortable that you aren't dealing with the B-team.
But all of the above is sealed in the fact that he has an excellent repertoire with my kids. He talks directly to them (not through me) starting as soon as they can converse. My kids trust him (including my oldest who trusts very few)... and my daughter feels comfortable enough to confide in him.
That kind of doctor-patient relationship is not easily found in the days of ""see them quicker, see them sicker"" medicine.
In Dr. Cammerman we have found a gem.
