I previously used this facility for the supervised visits with my son and his father several years ago, we then moved onto exchanges at this same location. The staff members were rude and very judgemental towards the parents. I had several issues and none of them were dealt with in any manner. I complained only to be ignored and treated like I was causing a problem for asking the owners to do their jobs as described in their own registration papers that were given to me when I registered. The man that stands outside as security does nothing other than smoke and ignore anything that is happening around him. The lady inside that took the money and brought the child to the parents was rude and non caring in all regards towards my child as well as myself. I asked after several moths of serivice for a report for court that should have detailed everything that had happened while I was at their facility, instead a received a report that stated that I was just jealous of my ex and his new wife and acted completely unreasonable while at CCP. I was shocked this had not happened at all and in fact I had been remarried since my son was only three months old. The facts of my case were nowhere in this report. The entire thing was nothing other than the owners personal opionon of me. Which was not nice nor was any of it true. I asked why this had happened and wanted to know why they would represent themselves in such a manner only to be told that I was being immature and actling like a child. I then went to my ex and offered to drop his current wage assignment of $620 per month in order to do our exchanges privately. I was not in a poitsition to do this financially but knew that it was better than staying at this facility. My ex agreed and we continued our exchanges outside of CCp from that day forward. The damage that CCP did to my custody case was immeasurable. The comments that they made caused me to fight my ex in court for several years and at every court date I had to explain why CCP had written such a report on behalf of my ex. The funny thing was I requested and paid for this report not my ex. I am just now rebuilding my life after well over eight years of emotional torture at the hands of my ex as he used the court system to further abuse me after I left him. CCp had a hand in helping a very abusive man to continue to tortue me long after leaving him as well as causing my son to be placed in his fathers care for a large amount of custodial time which was not good for my at all. After eight years my son's father currently has a restraining order against him that keeps him away from my son and myself. This process has cost more than most homes cost. I will never be ble to regain the time lost with my son due to CCP's awful behavior in my case. In my opinion this facility should be shut down. Other than just my personal expierce is the fact that quite literally down the stree tis the Fresno countys Methodone clinic as well the fact that less than one hundred yards away is a freeway overpass where homeless people live. This is not a place for children or families at all! If you want better for child please contact the recently formed organization that is coming together to close this awful facility down.
