I needed to tow truck and fast. I called my son who looked around and then called me back with several numbers for me to call. I tried 5 of them and they all seemed to be not willing to help me or were just too busy to come and rescue my off the expressway. On my sixth call I got in touch with Chicago Planet towing company and their dispatcher said she would have a driver out to me right away and she would inform the state police so they might come and sit with me while I waited. There truck showed up in about 25 minutes which seemed to me a bit long. I realize I fell that way because the situation I was in but then again I was on the expressway. Their driver cam to my window and helped my to his truck and inside and made sure I was out of harms way was what he called it. Then loaded my car. Just about then the state police arrive to sit with me. Although I no longer needed their help because my towing service had already arrived. The driver asked me where I would like to tow the ca to and I explained to him I have not broken down in a car in many years and if he could help me choose a shop. The driver said that Saab tech would be a great place to tow my car to since they specialize on my make of car. The choice was a great one because the shop had my car fixed that same day.
