Food Fresh from the Microwave 12/3/2010

My stew, which came highly recommended, tasted like prepackaged Dinty Moore, and had soggy shoestring fries sprinkled on top. The lamb shank was mostly fat, and also came in a watery Chef Boyardee sauce. Most of the menu seemed more Italian than Persian -- while I'm not at all familiar with Persian food, I frequently eat Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food, and this was nothing like either. The atmosphere and service felt very upscale, but this was a wasted effort given the quality of the food. The best part of the experience was the flatbread which comes free with every meal. Anything served in a sauce is not a high point for this restaurant -- I can't speak to whether the grilled/skewered meats are any better, but I will not be going back to find out. more
