First of all I didnt do my research before I went here. This place is NOT BBB accredited. It seems as if the honest reviews are really bad and the dishonest reviews are to good to be true. The owner is probably writing his own reviews, and I say this for a couple reasons 1-some of the reviews I have found are from user Richards..(the owners name is Richard), 2- after what I experienced I just find the good reviews unbelievable. I looked into the matters furhter and a lot of people are being ripped off. When I took my car in and asked exactly how much it would be to fix it. They said all that was wrong was one thing that was 400 to fix it. Then I got a phone call later that day telling me that they found other problems and the total was going to be more than 400. In the end it ended up costing me 959.12. I was furious because I knew exactly what was wrong with my car, so I took it back to the dealership I bought it from in 2008, and they said ""It looks like whoever was working on it last didnt know what they were doing and broke parts while trying to fix the main problem."" I called La Car Porte and spoke with the Owner Richard to confront him about the issue and he said quote "" well thats to bad Im sorry, your fired as our customer, so don't bring your vehicle back here again."" SO BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! more
