Mickey's Waukee has not had a roach sighting in the last three and a half years of the current ownership. We have monthly pest treatments done and there has never been evidence of roaches.
However since you were here in May I can assure you that the odds of seeing a harmless dead beetle in the back hall are fairly good. During summer they seem to find a way inside no matter what we do, especially in that hall. (The fun part of being on the edge of the Metro and near farm fields.) They die quickly due to the pest treatments.
Thank you for alerting us to your seeing one and we will try to remain vigilant on sealing that door with weather strip. In the meantime please do return and give us another try!
