I really dodged a bullet with this one. Had a little water heater problem so I called Whipple to come out and take a look. They told me that my water heater had a leak and they needed to replace it for $2,000. Just a standard 40-gallon. Nothing fancy. I got a second opinion from a local plumber who told me that it was just dirty, showed me how to clean it, and that the water was just normal condensation. It's been working fine ever since. With the growing popularity of review websites like this, I don't see how this company can stay in business much longer.
