My wife and I rented Unit 438-B from Joe Lamb. Our unit at first appeared to be very quaint. However, within hours after arriving we realized we had a big problem -- Cockroaches and other bugs. The place was infested. The first roach we saw was at least three inches long. The place also had ants all over the counters and in the cabinets. We also killed crickets spiders and others bugs in our short stay there. When we complained they sent out an exterminator who quickly sprayed and didn't even get all of the floorboards. We also discovered that part of the reason the bugs arrived. Below our deck was a pile of garbage. Yes garbage. When we asked to be moved we directed to someone who was friendly but, who lacked authority to exact any meaningful change. The properties manager Kim Dubec would not even see us and we were told they had no other comparable properties and that they could not give us a refund because, essentially they were just the middle man.
