I took martial arts as a teen and wanted the same for my son. Unfortunately, training nowadays isn't anything like what I experienced in the late 1980s. Most of the places in Fredericksburg (those that would let me watch a class) are poorly run or unprofessional. Except this place. The classes are well-organized and the kids learn and improve, but they still have fun. My son's having such a blast I have considering going back to train myself. The adults train seperately, though, and we can't make it work. I think very highly of the instructors, though, and would recommend this studio to anyone who wants their kid to really learn martial arts and not just have playtime in white pajamas.
