we stopped by last night for an early dinner. The selections are vast.....something for everybody including my mother who prefers ""old style"" dining. A lot of items that I would like to go back again and try. Especially SusieQCup's Salmon and polenta and the cioppino...that sounds interesting!\r

My hubby had the veal scallopini, and shared some with me.......excellent flavor! I would order this again for sure, more of a brown sauce than the kind that you get at, say, OJ's. My mother ordered the 1/2 rack of lamb, which she enjoyed & was a smaller serving size of meat, perfect for her. I ordered the sirloin and lamb combo. The sauce that came with both was very good! However, I had ordered medium rare lamb and rare steak. I got raw lamb and medium well steak. Too bad the waiter never stopped by to check on us..... he finally came by with the check and asked us if everything was okay (well, yeah, since I didn't eat any of the meat, I guess that was obvious) I explained to him what happened, he looked, nodded, smiled and said ""well they must have gotten it wrong"", and then took it away and brought it back packed to go. As is. Seriously. He also never tried to upsell soup, apps, salad, dessert, which was surprising since we had planned to order some but he had left the table so quickly after taking the main course items that we didn't have the chance, then never saw him again until he brought our order to the table ) nor did he offer to refill drinks. All items which would have brought his tip up, so I figured this was a one person abherration and not the norm for the restaurant.\r

Bottom line for us: we enjoyed the food , and decided that despite the poor service and lack of caring, we will go back again, try some new items, and definitely request a different waitperson.
