First experience- I was referred to get a MRI from Dr Ghoshal. He wanted to rule out MS from my symptoms I was having. \r
A couple days later, I wanted to check on the status for MRI paper trail (since my symptoms where getting worse)- The receptionist said ""Listen Here- You have to wait; how long did it take for you to get your approval for us and wait for an appointment to get in our office? Well you have to wait for an MRI"" Then I told her "" I am just making sure all the ducks are in a row and make sure I am not lost in the system."" She immediately became unprofessional and forceful verbally! I had to hang up!\r
Ok here is the kicker- From day one the doctor told me about possible MS; (why I was getting my MRI) So naturally-I did my homework. I found out What it is, how to diagnose, etc. MS is hard to diagnose becasue it mimicks other symptoms which therefore causes a reason for test, blood work MRI of brain and spine. \r
My symptoms are getting worse and won;t go away and I am getting more symptoms. The neurologist stated ""yes these are neurological problems"". He read my MRI to me which came back- non-specific scattered punctate.\r
So I then told Ghoshal my symptoms are worsening and more weird things are happening to my body.\r
I started to read my notes on what I wrote about my sypmtoms, and Ghoshal didn't even listen to the second sentence. Then Ghoshal said- let me see your notes; took a glance and said ""I'll Copy these and put them in your folder!""\r
Then he says ""I don't know what it is"" and he said he doesn't suggest a spinal tap or spinal mri. I know these are the next phase to rule out MS especially if He suggested MS in the first place and I AM showing symptoms of MS with more symptoms (Multiple). He said "" I am going to refer you to another neurologist! \r
This doesn't make since! He is a neurologist that has been in the practice! And he doesn't rule anything out and basically throws me to the curb! He had nothing to say and for some reason wanted to kick me out as a patient. He never even looked at me! \r
I know for a fact this doctor COULD HAVE said- yes you are having neurological symptoms=- Lets rule these problems out with another test and figure this out. Instead he takes the easy way out- Not Caring!
