What makes The Table special, however, is Chef Dato. When he passes through the dining room, as he does often, you just know he is so happy to be your host. Chef wants you to enjoy your food and your overall experience. His warmth is apparent. His menu is imaginative and original, yet he is open to revising for your special needs or preferences. \r

If the previous reviewer had a problem with his ravioli, no one would have been more concerned about that than Chef Dato. I assure you he would have whisked that plate to the kitchen to remedy the problem, and offered his guest something to keep his appetite at bay in the meantime. Glitches happen. Good proprietors like Chef Dato make them right. \r

We are thrilled to have Chef in the Latrobe area and will continue to enjoy lunch and dinner with him often.
