My wife and I love pastrami sandwiches and didn't realize we lived next to the best in the world. My wife is from NY, and we did the NY deli tour several times. Have been looking for NY like pastrami in LA, but didn't realize how good it can be untill we tried Langers. Atmosphere and service was perfect from the moment you enter to doors, after you pass through the Tijuana like atmosphere from the parking lot to Langer's. We sat at the counter and ordered #19 (Pastrami on twice baked rye bread with slice of swiss, cole slaw, and russian dressing) and #55 (Corned beef on rye bread with cole slaw and russian dressing). Both sandwiches came with pickles that were cruchy and juicy with the perfect amount our sourness.
