And were I millionaire, I would eat here once or twice a week.
The food is extraordinarily good - and as a Madrilena, I know what I'm talking about. Have never had a bad mouthful and have had many that made me swoon with delight. The word ""mouthful"" is very relevant here, however - courses are expensive and very, very small. Put aside a small fortune, or don't come hungry.
Timing between courses is long. Provided that you expect this and are with good friends / conversationalists, this can be really delightful.
Service is extraordinarily variable.
The wine list is good, though mark-ups have become very, very high. (Corkage fee: $30 and even so, worth keeping in mind.)
Money no object? You'd be hard pressed to choose a better place in Seattle. Sit upstairs at a table or at the bar. Drink beautiful wine, eat mouthfuls of delectable food and relax into perfect pleasure.
