Boy Fren' and I stayed at the White Peacock & came to the Stone Lion for Sunday breakfast. Am I ever glad we did. The Saturday night [Murder Mystery] crowd were still UP from their good time, Becky was brilliant -- entertaining us with tales of the dead and not-so-dead of the Stone Lion -- but, Darlin', come for the food if fun isn't your goal. I suspect the cook was trained in New York or Europe, testified against the Mafia and is now in Witness Protection. Damn, it's good food -- the quiche crust alone deserves 5-Stars. I ate and laughed until both sides hurt.
