You would not think they work on commission. They are horrible. Our consultant did not know the stock. Would not listen to what I was looking for, and was trying to pick out accessories which did not even go with the gown. While the first dress I tried on was fabulous (I picked it out) it was all downhill from there.\r

I went through the dresses with my sister and picked 5 gowns I wanted to try. I showed them to the associate and asked her to pull them in the correct size. She went ahead and pulled the first two and we were off to the dressing room. Both had to come off the mannequine as they were the only ones in the size I needed.\r

I tried it the 1st one and loved it. We tried on the accessories and had a lot of fun (not any that she chose, good thing my sister was with me) I tried on the next one and it could not compare to the first so I wanted to go on to the next dress, but our sale consultant was no where to be found and she had not pulled the other dress for me. No problem I just sent my sister to pull it, I mean that is what sisters are for. \r

And here is where the major issues start. Enter stage right crazy sales associate. This women was not even my associate, but is apparently not happy that I sent my sister to pull a dress (already had a slight run in with this associate as she was not happy that she had to assist taking a dress off the mannequin) As my sister is on her way back to the dressing room with the dress and I am just hanging out in my bra in the dressing room, the associate offers to take the dress to the dressing room for us. \r
\r
My sister comes back to the dressing room empty handed and the other associate disappears. When my sister finally tracked her down she had put it behind the register so I would “not be able to try on the dress.” My sister explained that I was waiting in the dressing room waiting to try on the dress and she literally said, “You will just have to wait.” My sister then asked how long and she said “as long as I feel like it” \r
\r
When another associate asked if she could help she told me it was their policy to over not to “overwhelm” the bride. Overwhelmed??? By two dress?? I am a smart women I am sure that trying on the 5 dresses I picked out was not going to overwhelm me.\r

I was in utter shock; I thought they wanted to sell bridal gowns. I was looking to purchase a $1,000 plus gown which is on the high end for David’s and they were treating us like we were trash. Stop trying to be Klinfields and know what you are; a discount bridal shop. Come on people. They were not even busy. There were 9 consultants milling around and only three women trying on dresses.\r
\r
I had been there a couple of time previously for bridesmaid dresses and tough they were rude but nothing like this last time. \r
\r
My sister actually bought her dress from the Durham David's Bridal and had a great experience. We will never go back to the David's on Capital and I am planning to purchase the gown I like at the Durham store where the customer service is great!!!\r
