I've been going to see Charlie Hodges at Salon Sovay since August, and I've never had a better cut and color in my life. I grew up in Philadelphia and went to the same stylist since I began coloring my hair eight years ago. I moved to Austin and after calling Salon Sovay and getting a consultation on the phone, I made an appointment with Charlie.
I color my hair platinum, and over the years it's been difficult to get and maintain a true almost-white blonde. After my first visit with Charlie, I had the most perfect shade of platinum ever. Every time I've gone back, Charlie has been meticulous about making sure each strand is perfect, and there are no yellow spots or missed patches. In fact, Charlie is extremely professional and takes a lot of pride in making sure his clients are 100% pleased with his work.
I really can't stress enough how perfect my color has been since I've been seeing Charlie. Anyone who colors their hair platinum knows it's very difficult to achieve a uniform color and then to maintain it. Charlie will give you the best platinum, there's no question about it.
In addition to that, my hair cuts are always amazing. I really like having edgy hair that I can play with and style many different ways, but still stay feminine. Charlie gives me exactly what I want every time.
He's a super guy. Awesome color, awesome cuts, and overall he's so friendly and down to earth that I always look forward to coming in to see him. Go to Salon Sovay and see Charlie, go platinum, and you'll never go anywhere else.
