Originally charged $446 total (service fee, part, labor) to replace a $35.00 (approx) hot service ignitor on a residential gas furnace, which took tech approx 15 minutes to diagnose & replace. After much research couldn't find any local (or Austin or Houston) HVAC company who would quote higher than $284 for exact work/part with the average quote between $195 and $225. Rosenberg agreed to only refund $154 bringing total to $292...lets see, that makes their hourly labor rate about $1,028/hr? Still moderately dissatisfied with outcome and what a hassle! Do your homework - this company seems to be just fine being the highest priced HVAC company not only in SA, but in Texas.
