I love EE-SANE. They serve fresh food and they have a vast range of price so if you don't have very much money you could just get soup and it is fresh and very tasty.
I would recommend the curries over anything curries are fresh full of veggies and not very fattening but with ample flavor, and I share it with someone every time because they give you so much. So that helps on the pocket book.
The only thing I think they could improve on is the atmosphere. I think it needs to be modernized a bit, the ceilings are so tall they could stand to be a color, not just white. Its so bright in there it kind of makes you feel like you are in a hospital or something.
As to the first review for EE-SANE I would say if someone asks you what spice level you want they are typically asking for both, kind of a no brainer. Also it helps to ask what people typically order in spice because every restaurant is different. I usually get a 4 there and its very good.
