By now, most of you know (or otherwise should) that Dali remains the best place to go when you want both delicious, authentic Spanish Tapas and a warm, romantic setting. Yet it seems that Dali's cousin, Cuchi Cuchi in Cambridge, is still the oft forgotten stepchild.

Not only does C.C. have a one of the most diverse, share-worthy menus of international, ""straight-up"" small dishes in town, it flaunts a wine and cocktail list that will make your head spin (uhh...literally. I speak from experience). Add to this an incredibly eclectic decor (collectibles, costumes and one-of-a-kind objets d'art from floor to ceiling), plus a playful, bejeweled and bedecked waitstaff, and you'll find one of the most unique restaurants this city has to offer.

I've had dinner and/or drinks there--with a date, a few friends or larger groups--more times than I can count and I've always had a great time and a satisfied palette. It's also only one of the few places in this still-so-conservative city where you'll feel just as much at home in jeans as you might wearing a gown or a tux.

The downside is that the place is a bit small and the gets really packed. Especially later in the week, so is sometimes a bit daunting. After a cocktail (or two) you probably wont notice, though.

Oh...and dont forget to wear your feather boa.
Pros: sexy ambience, sassy crowd + satisfying small plates
Cons: the wait is often too long later in the week.
