i first went there in 2005 with my son and was considered high risk. i had excellent care and had a healthy baby. i decided to come back in 2009 with our 3rd baby and was considered high risk. i had regular checkups as if i was normal pregnancy. they wouldnt see me when i had a problem. i had to go to the emergency room everytime. i told them that i stopped feeling the baby move and they said that was normal and okay since they could hear the heartbeat. this went on for 7 weeks until i was 32 weeks and went for a growth scan at duke perinatal and the baby had stopped growing at 25 weeks and there was no fluid. thats why i couldnt feel her move anymore. these people were so concerned that medicaid wouldnt pay for the utlrasound if it turned out nothing was wrong that my baby had to die. when i asked them to explain theirselves they turned on me and said it was my fault. i had a c-section and after my staple removal dr. v told me i did not need a 6 week checkup and he would see me in the spring. i left and made an appointment with another gyn to get my checkup and had to have medical records sent over. a week later these guys had the nerve to bill me 35.00 for sending records for an appointment they should have but did not provide. i will never return to this place and feel guilty to all the women i have referred there. i hope none of them suffered because of it.
Pros: accept medicaid
Cons: everything else
