Terrible Customer Service 9/10/2009

Last week I tried calling Excel Granite in Malden numerous times to find out their showroom hours. I ended up leaving 2-3 messages and never received a callback. Finally, a week later, I got through to someone named Aliny. I ask her what her showroom hours are today, and she tells me "10am-5pm" with a very sharp foreign accent. So I drive over - the prices are great, so I'm willing to drive 45-minutes+ to see the showroom - only to get there at 2pm and the shop is closed! There's a sign on the door, "call this number xxx-xxx-xxxx" and I did. It was Aliny again, who explained to me that she's busy and I needed to schedule an appointment to see the showroom floor. I explained to her that I literally had called her an hour ago and she gave me the hours they were open. SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I'm left standing outside Excel Granite with a sour taste in my mouth. At that point, the only thing I wanted to do was let her boss know that this woman is rude, lazy, and has no customer service skills whatsoever. So I did a little research: come to learn - ALINY IS THE OWNER! Maybe you'll have better luck seeing their showroom floor than I did. There are plenty of other granite contrators out there with the same great prices Excel Granite offers, but with superb communication and customer service skills. Pros: none Cons: Rude, Bad Store Hours, No People Skill more
