I had gotten a gift certificate from my boyfriend to use at Jolie. I went in for a permanent wave and I definitely did not get that. I had a perm but, it fell out the very next day. I called them back and they did another perm a couple days later. The stylist, she was really friendly, missed parts of my hair and thus some of my hair was curly and some was not. It looked ridiculous.
I didn't notice until I got home (another city) and realized it looked terrible. Since I have thick course hair, it was recognizable immediately. I had a relaxer done and that was that.
I called Jolie spa a week later to explain what happened and asked what could be done. The manager, Chris, seemed to never come to work and never returned my phone calls. After a week of phone tag, he finally called me back and made me feel as though I was just asking for a handout. Instead of sympathizing with my situation, he made me feel like a criminal and only offered a minimal percentage off the next hair style.
I feel that Jolie took advantage of the fact that I wasn't able to come back so they could see the half straight/half curls. Please do not get your hair styled here. I still have over 50 dollars on my gift card and I refuse to go back.
