If you r from the ""greater New Orleans"" area n miss real N.O.food reasonably priced n that N.O. ambience this place will bring u back 2 N.O.:The atmosphere/ambience is really N.O. w/ the color scheme(bright ""Mardi Gras"" colors),music from local N.O. musicians (Neville brothers, brass bands) coming from the speakers. There is even some local newspapers from N.O. on display used for the ""crawfish"" bolied when n season shipped up from N.O.\r
I knew it was the real deal N.O. food when the owner told me they get their ""hot sausages"" for the ""PoBoy"" sandwich shipped up from N.O. from a local N.O. meat company (Patton's sausages) i was sold on the food. ""gumbo"" was really good w/nice size shrimp/ sausages etc, ""crawfish bisque"" was also good, and the menu has some cajun items featured as appetizers such as:"" alligator sausages"" and ""fried frog legs"" etc. Gotta try this place if u r here in Washington from N.O. n missing the food this is the real deal....
Pros: best ""Po Boy's"" real hot sausage patties (N.O. ""Patton's"")
Cons: no take out menus to pre-order food to go
