We dined at Nostrani with great expectations. The food quality was excellent, but the menu choices were very few and the portions were VERY small and pricey. I suspect that they want you to order all courses to boost your bill. The wine list was all Italian which, to the even the above average wine consumer was not appealing. We were appauled at the price of the special of the day --imagine $65 for a Rib eye steak with only brocolli! We decided to have a freindly conversarion about broadening the wines on list - but the owner Eric was not receptive to any input . So what was the point of trying to give him constructive ideas. The owner Eric - must have designed his menu and wine list for himself and it not customer focsed. So I guess he will be dining alone!
