So when we finally got it going again we headed to Randy's. One of their staff came out, examined the situation, found that a plug-in connector was loose, lubed it with dielectric grease, worked it back into place, and sent us on our way with a fully functional vehicle within about 20 minutes. Though we may never see the folks at Randy's again, we'll not soon forget their kindness to travelers just passing through. I could not recommend any automotive repair shop more highly.
