In the early days, when I was silly enough to handle my own web development, I had started a link campaign. It was only a matter of time before that grew pretty tiresome. I was sending out requests for back links, posting return links, managing emails, and waiting for some responses which never came. Even worse is that the efforts I did make didn't really pan out; my page rank was hardly affected. I knew I had to do something different if the campaign was ever going to work. GetMeOnTop took over for me upon my request and I have no regrets!
